Fun With Friends

A great way to encourage communication continues to be… Play! Having your toddler play with other kids - either playdates or playing with their siblings or cousins - is great.

Upload or record a short clip of your toddler and a friend playing dress up, doing crafts, using blocks, making art, running around the playground, dancing, etc.

Example

There's Always Something New

There are so many things your four-year-old has learned! Maybe your child can kick a ball, hop on one foot, or has started to speak in complete sentences.

Upload or record a short clip of your toddler trying and succeeding/failing at new things, both physically and emotionally: jumping, running, playing memory games, dressing themselves, brushing their teeth, cleaning up their toys, helping a friend or sibling.

Example

Showing Love

Your four-year-old is developing their own voice, especially that little voice inside their head.

Upload or record a short clip of you or your partner offering positive praise to your child. Show their reaction to this! Maybe you can see their confidence and self-assurance spreading across their face!

Example

A Productive Toddler

When it comes to school, one important thing to establish with your toddler is an environment of curiosity, a love for learning, and the ability to stick with a task, even if it's challenging.

Upload or record a quick clip of you or your partner helping your toddler with their schoolwork either at home or in the classroom.
